ABS

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) plastic is known for its toughness, rigid thermoplasticity and strength.  It most commonly black in color and has a hair-celled texture on one face and glossy underside.  However Natural ABS plate is cream colored and its surface is not textured or glossy. It iseasily machined and ideal for turning, drilling, milling, sawing, die-cutting and shearing and can be cut or bent using thermoforming techniques.

ABS can be adhered to itself and other like plastics using chemical bonding adhesives.

It is available in some colors and manufactured in 48″x96″ sheets, machine grade plate 48” X 120”, various rods and tube sizes, and custom extrusions.
